According to my watch.....

....I burned 1493 calories today (2 hours of Karate and 1 hour at the gym earlier) That should be enough to cancel out yesterdays free day. What's even cooler about the watch that I learned today, is that all I need is the heart rate strap on around my chest...and the watch can be 20 feet away (the Sensei didn't want me wearing it during karate, so it sat by my water), but it still picked up my heart rate etc. I thought that was great.

Love the updates on the watch. I hadn't even heard about it prior to reading about on your blog. I've been doing my research and being a good boy. My Garmin Forerunner crapped out and I'm thinking about getting one for Christmas.

Scott, you might also want to look in to the Suunto t6. It was a little out of my price range for a watch, but it is suppose to have a better face (crystal...so it doesn't scratch), and have some other useful functions. The t4 is suppose to be geared more towards running, biking, swimming, more than interval training like I do. But since you do a lot of running, it could be a great tool for you. Do your research though :)

Sigh, you're making me jealous. And hungry. And, well, I need a free day like a priest needs a confessional (I had a free weekend, kindof). I should go eat my last meal of the day though, before it's too late ;)

Now, let me know when I have an extra $200+ laying around so i can get that watch. :D
