Standing on a soapbox today...

After watching the election coverage last night, and seeing the swarms of people standing outside the White house chanting for Obama, I couldn't help but to feel sorry for President Bush. Today, while perusing the news I came across this article which really summed up all that I felt.

This was excellent. Historical perspective will provide a different picture. We wish him peace in retirement.

P.S. The San Francisco measure re the sewage plant did NOT pass.

I suppose it's not all that surprising that the measure came out of SF, but still hard for me to wrap my head around anything (or a large group of people) thinking that was a good idea.
Karma's a b**ch ;)

Americans (in general) have become a group that needs someone to blame for THEIR mistakes: average credit card debt is $30,000 and people are upside down in their homes... apparently all because of President Bush. How easily people forget the 9/11 attacks were being planned during the Clinton administration and HE chose not to address any of the "tips" he was given. That was a great article - I've passed it along to friends.
